"Secret" is an original song by the American singer Alli Fitz, released as a single on May 24th, 2019.
Background[]
Alli recorded the song on January 17th, 2019, as she posted on her Instagram story.[1][2]
In February 2019, a fan asked Alli on Twitter what her favorite original song that she has created is her favorite, and Alli answered with: "omg i wish i could tell u but its secret (screenshot this pls it'll be funny later)"[3]
Later, in a Q&A video from April 2019, she announced that her next single will be coming by the end of the month May.
On May 23rd, one day before the song's release date, Alli teased a 3 second snippet of the song.[4]
Unlike her previous songs, the song was not available for pre-ordering, nor announced before its release.

- One day after the release of the song, Alli asked her fans on twitter their iTunes emails. She later sent people the song for free.[5][6][7]
- Secret is Alli's third single to make it on the iTunes charts, peaking at #179. The first one is Tragic, and the second one Company.
- On June 4th, Alli posted on her channel a video of her singing Secret with no AutoTune.
